WHAT IS LIVE LOOPING?
"I consider Live looping to be the art of making music where every note and melody is recorded live on the spot in front of the audience. I accomplish this by using a combination of live instruments, synthesizers, voice and other software and hardware tools with both my hands and feet.
I prefer to steer away from using prerecorded tracks as this allows me to create an element of originality that is unique to each song and performance. It means that even though I might perform the same song from one night to the next, maybe the next night I choose to use different sounds, or play it at a different tempo, or even try a totally different feel. I simply love the freedom of being able to be creative at any moment and see where that leads.
This approach has allowed me to make every performance a unique experience for the client/listener. "
